Architecture shaped by people, purpose, and place.
We believe good architecture begins with understanding the people who will inhabit a space and the ways they live, work, and interact within it.
Our approach brings together thoughtful design, technical expertise, and close collaboration to create environments that are both functional and meaningful. From residential interiors to commercial and hospitality spaces, we consider each project's individual character, opportunities, and challenges.
As a boutique practice, we take a personal approach to every project, working closely with our clients from initial concepts through construction. Our goal is to create well-considered spaces that reflect their needs, support their vision, and stand the test of time.

Meet Motoko
A New York City based architect and founder of Motoko Tisza Architecture | Design.
With over 20 years of experience in architecture and interior design, I specialize in residential, retail, commercial and hospitality projects. My approach combines thoughtful design, attention to detail, and a practical understanding of how spaces are built and used.
As a boutique practice, I work directly with my clients throughout the entire process, from initial concepts and planning through construction and completion. I believe good design begins with understanding each client's needs, and that the best results come from close collaboration.
My experience with building codes, regulations, and the construction process allows me to balance creative ideas with practical solutions, helping projects move forward efficiently without compromising the design.
I welcome the opportunity to discuss your project.
